The Hound Breeds.....

     The hound breeds come in all shapes and sizes and are bred to work around the world. They are most famous for their ability to track game either by using sight as with Afghans, Salukis, and others of the Greyhound family or by scent such as the Foxhound, Basset Hound or Bloodhound. The Dachshunds have the unique ability to track their game into holes in the ground and kill them there and the Otterhounds  have similar abilities in water. There are 25 hound breeds. Though not all are pictured in samples here, all are available to be worked on sweaters. Click on breed to view designs available. As more samples are complete, they will be added.
