Filet crochet is a method of using a fine cotton thread to create beautiful lace like designs of the dogs. To complete a filet crochet pattern, the only stitches necessary are chain, single crochet and double crochet. Then you just follow the chart and it's done!

The Samoyed Filet Crochet Top sample shown here was worked on crochet cotton #10 on a steel size 7US crochet hook with a gauge of 2.8" =10 sq. and 2.5" = 10 rows. Measures 45" around the bust and 22" long. Directions are given for other sizes. The back of the pattern has the word Samoyed worked at the waist. This looks absolutely wonderful over a black turtleneck top and black slacks.
